The “Parentage Equality Bill” is one of the most radical laws to ever be passed by the Mass. House, commodifying women and allowing children to be treated as nothing more than items to be sold, in addition to redefining the entire idea of what it means to be a parent.
The Act openly attacks the family by replacing the terms “mother” and “father” with absurd phrases such as “person who gives birth”, “other parent” and “genetic source.”
We still have time to stop this Orwellian bill from further undermining our society, but we must act now!
H.4672 redefines parenthood “on the basis of a ‘person’s intent to be a parent of a child,’” notes Patience Griswold of Them Before Us (TBU), an organization devoted to protecting children’s rights. “In doing so, it strips all mention of mothers and fathers from parentage law, replacing these vital familial roles with gender-erased language.”
Even more worryingly, the bill would allow a mother to accept money for her child before the child is born via a surrogacy contract, through which she could “‘match’ with the couple willing to pay the highest ‘payment of consideration,’ essentially auctioning off her child.”
The bill has passed in the House, but the Senate has yet to vote. We must act now and stand up for women, children, and the dignity of the family.

My hope is that this lawsuit encourages productive dialogue between employees of faith and their employers. No employee should be expected to abandon their faith when entering the workplace and unfortunately, I felt backed into a corner where my faith was incompatible with the requirements of my job. My prayer is that people of faith will flourish in the workplace and not feel as if they need to hide that part of themselves in order to be successful in their jobs.

@buttkicker7's call for young Catholic men to put their vocations as husbands and fathers first could not be more important. Surely we spiritual fathers can ponder his call to us too. Faithfulness is the way. Read the speech: https://t.co/oC4NP4KaZl
