And in the latest installment of Fairways to Faith, Tim uses alignment—how tour players set their body on a “railroad track” parallel to the target rather than pointing themselves at the hole—as a metaphor for the spiritual life: knowing the faith is not enough if you are not actually aimed at God’s will, which often requires a coach or director to call you back when you drift.
