Amid protests, Legion of Mary prays for healing of nation

Members of the Legion of Mary, a group of Marian devotees, stationed themselves near the entrance of Hornell Stadium in Medford MA, where the protests were held on Friday, June 5th, 2020, to pray for the spiritual healing of America.

On Thursday, members of the group sprinkled Exorcised Salt around some areas of the stadium, then they gathered on Friday to pray Rosaries and hand out prayer cards. According to some members, the salted areas were noticeably more peaceful than others.

Legion of Mary has been promoting the use of Sacramentals such as Exorcised Salt, Holy Water, Miraculous Medals, Benedictine Medals, and Scapulars to combat the powers of evil more effectively. The group is also engaged in having regular masses said for the well-being of national leaders, including the President and First Lady.
