It was shivering cold outside the conference hall of the USCCB’s 2019 Fall General Assembly in Baltimore, where a group of participants from as far as Indiana joined together with Pro-Life event organizer Jack Ames, to pray the Rosary with the image of Our Lady of America.
They prayed for all the USCCB Bishops gathered for the conference, that they may be guided by of Our Lady of America, and that there may be an indwelling of the Trinity within the hearts of the American people, and America itself, especially among members of the Church.
My child, I entrust you with this message that you must make known to my children in America. I wish it to be the country dedicated to my purity. The wonders I will work will be the wonders of the soul. They must have faith and believe firmly in my love for them. I desire that they be the children of my Pure Heart. I desire, through my children in America, to further the cause of faith and purity among peoples and nations. Let them come with confidence and simplicity, and I, their Mother, will teach them to become pure like to my Heart that their own hearts may be more pleasing to the Heart of my Son.– Our Lady of America to Sister Ephram
The laity were joined outside in the cold by his Eminence Mark Brennan, Bishop of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia, originally a Boston native, who served as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Baltimore just prior to his appointment as Bishop of Wheeling-Charleston.
Rally participants also attempted to distribute medals of Our Lady of America to conference attendees, but were prevented from doing so by event staff.
The station expresses its gratitude to Jack Ames for organizing and to Bishop Mark Brennan for participating despite the bitter weather.Tags: Dan Lynch Apostolates, Jack Ames, Our Lady of America, Pro-Life
